Tamara is a motivated, energetic HR Professional who just relocated to San Diego from Las Vegas. She has 3 years of human resources/recruiting experience, beginning with Macy’s in Las Vegas where she was an HR Assistant for 2 stores and was responsible for new hire orientation, compliance and paperwork, benefits, employee recognition, interviews, and job fairs
This position was only part-time, and they were unable to move her schedule to full-time, so Tamara explored a position as an HR Assistant with Nevada Imaging Centers. She supported the HR Manager with all functions including recruiting, payroll, and accounts payable. After about a year, Tamara pursed another opportunity as a Recruiting Assistant with Colonial/Maxim Homecare Services.
Tamara loved this job, and was responsible for recruiting for nurses, therapists, and personal care assistants, conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews, extending employment offers, coordinating background and reference checks, and new hire orientation. It was hard for her to leave this position, but her husband took a job offer in San Diego so they decided to relocate.
Tamara is extremely friendly and personable, and has a strong passion for people. She is looking for a position where she can be involved in all aspects of HR and contribute to the overall environment and well-being of the company.
