He brings with him over 15 years’ experience in finding talent for small to Fortune 100 organizations with his success founded on building relationships and in providing top-level customer service. Greg is consistently a top performer, and the recipient of numerous company awards.

Alexis Cabero
Director, Healthcare Division

As Branch Manager, Alexis Cabero oversees recruiting efforts across all divisions while spearheading the Legal and Healthcare divisions. She leads a team of recruiters and drives talent strategies that support a wide range of business needs. Alexis specializes in identifying top-tier professionals in accounting & finance, legal support, medical devices, administrative operations, customer service, engineering, and human resources.
A graduate of the University of California, Irvine with a B.A. in Arts and Digital Media, Alexis began her recruiting career in 2014 staffing assisted living facilities—matching compassionate healthcare professionals with clients who needed dedicated, non-medical personal care. Her experience has since expanded into high-volume recruiting, professional staffing, and niche talent acquisition, placing candidates in roles such as Staff Accountants, AP/AR Specialists, Payroll professionals, Legal Assistants, Paralegals, and other essential positions.
Alexis is passionate about helping individuals recognize and reach their full potential. She takes a consultative, personalized approach with every candidate, using a thorough discovery process to understand their strengths and align them with meaningful opportunities exclusive to Marquee Staffing.
Jourdan Castro
Senior Business Development Manager
Jourdan is a Sr. Sales leader with over a decade of experience driving revenue growth, optimizing performance. Known for his hands-on, performance-driven leadership style, Jourdan excels by fostering strong client partnerships, and using data-driven insights to guide decision-making in competitive markets. With a background that includes full-desk recruiting and executive search across industries such as manufacturing, distribution, supply chain & logistics, semiconductor, and construction, enables him to align business development with workforce strategy effectively.
Outside of work, Jourdan values time with his wife and daughter. He enjoys coaching his daughter’s softball team and spending time on the golf course, reflecting his passion for mentorship, teamwork, and continuous growth both professionally and personally.
Matt Cocanig
Chief Revenue Officer
Matt brings more than 25 years of executive leadership experience in sales, operations, and market expansion across multiple industries. Over the past decade, he has played a key role in building and scaling a strong staffing presence throughout California and Nevada.
Recognized for developing effective sales operating processes and reporting systems, Matt focuses on simplifying complexity for clients while driving alignment and performance across teams. His leadership approach emphasizes solving complex challenges through streamlined, results-driven solutions that deliver measurable value to customers.
Throughout his career, Matt has successfully launched new markets, scaled regional operations, and built high-performing teams. He also brings extensive expertise in government compliance, prevailing wage requirements, and workforce regulations, ensuring operational excellence and risk mitigation.
Guided by a client- and employee-first mindset, Matt leads with integrity and a commitment to long-term partnerships. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and attending his daughters’ performances and athletic events. In his free time, he can often be found working on his next car project or exploring new travel, cooking, and dining experiences.
Kierra Cormier
Recruiter, Healthcare Division
Kierra graduated with a master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Prior to joining Marquee Staffing, Kierra excelled as a recruiter in the HVAC and Tech industries, where her talent acquisition strategies were rooted in a deep understanding of candidate behaviors and organizational fit.
At Marquee Staffing, Kierra specializes in healthcare staffing, connecting skilled professionals with roles in FQHCs, MSOs, Clinical Labs, and Private Practices. Her in-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry enables her to identify top talent for various positions, ensuring alignment with client needs and organizational goals.
Kierra is dedicated to delivering exceptional recruitment experiences, fostering positive outcomes for both candidates and clients. Her customer-focused approach drives her passion for creating meaningful connections and ensuring seamless placements.
Outside of work, Kierra enjoys traveling with friends and family, attending concerts and music festivals, and learning Korean. With over 19 years of soccer experience, she remains an avid player and enthusiast, often attending local matches.
Jeannette Diaz

Jeanette brings over 15 years of staffing experience focused on human resources, leadership, training and development, and employee relations. Her passion for the staffing industry and leadership characteristics have allowed her to be successful in this marketplace by delivering solutions to clients, colleagues, and associates. In her current role, Jeannette is responsible for the growth and the profitability of the San Diego and North County Operations. She leads the team of professionals, is a highly effective strategic partner and provides strong customer engagement skills which allow her to quickly establish relationships at all levels. She is passionate about providing exceptional service and displays a high level of professionalism throughout the organization. Jeannette is goal orientated, results driven, and committed to producing real results in the marketplace.

Andrew Dion
Senior Engineering-Technical Recruiter
Division: San Diego County
As an Executive Recruiter/ Military Liaison Andrew, a graduate of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Civil Engineering, specializes in identifying talent across Engineering, Computer Science, Administration, and other technical functions. Coming from a military family, Andrew serves as a Military Liaison, partnering with veterans to market their skills, navigate interviews, salary negotiations, and transition confidently into the civilian workforce. He is responsible for outreach to our community partners such as Workshop for Warriors and SDMAC.
As an Executive Recruiter, he is focused on mastering the full recruiting life cycle and building technical fluency across multiple disciplines while building strong relationships with local businesses to meet hiring needs and organizational goals.
Outside of work, he enjoys snowboarding, finding hidden beach spots, and spending time with his family (including his cat, Katsu). He is also a Fiji brother in the Rho Phi chapter of Phi Gamma Delta.
Yolanda Fierro

With over 20 years of recruiting and human resources experience, Yolanda possess a specialization in the talent acquisition space.
She has spent most of her career in the staffing industry. Yolanda prides herself in having the right experience allowing her to fill roles for both invasive searches as well as emergency placements.
She strives to ensure that our clients staffing needs are being met while searching for the best talent.

Logan Hitchcock
Accounting Manager
Logan Hitchcock is an accomplished accountant who possesses over a decade of experience in financial management and accounting. His journey in the world of finance has been characterized by his proven expertise in leading comprehensive financial operations, overseeing internal controls, and driving the accuracy and efficiency of accounting functions. He’s adept at managing budgets exceeding $500 million, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards, and fostering collaborative cross-functional relationships. His exceptional track record includes delivering actionable financial insights, optimizing processes, and providing strategic guidance to support organizational growth and financial stability. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from Metropolitan State University of Denver and is actively pursuing his CPA qualification.
Outside of the world of finance, he savors life’s simple pleasures, whether it’s kayaking on tranquil waters, casting a line for his next great catch, or hitting the gym for an energizing workout. His love for good food is a constant source of inspiration and enjoyment.

Amy Juarez
Administrative Assistant
Amy brings several years of experience in administrative and clerical support, with a strong background in healthcare office management and patient accounting. She provides essential administrative assistance in areas such as candidate screening, onboarding, time and attendance, and payroll.
Known for her organization, attention to detail, and compassionate approach, Amy helps ensure a smooth and efficient experience for both candidates and colleagues. She takes pride in contributing to a positive and welcoming workplace. Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with friends and family, dining out, and exploring new activities.
Hillary Kingsley
Senior Account Manager
Division: San Diego County
Hillary began working with Marquee Staffing in 2011 as a Receptionist. She quickly learned the industry, and developed a passion for recruiting with a focus on the fields of Production, Human Resources, Accounting, Engineering, and Customer Service. Her natural ability to develop relationships made her invaluable among her candidates as well as her clients. Currently operating as our Sr Account Manager, Hillary thrives on providing exceptional customer service while delivering on her client’s needs. Her ability to produce a high caliber of talent combined with her vivacious personality have added immeasurable value to our organization.
Outside of work, Hillary makes sure to make every moment count, and never takes anything for granted. She enjoys going on scenic drives with her family and watching her boys grow up.
Jennifer Lyons
Senior Recruiter & Payroll Specialist

Jenni comes to Marquee Staffing with an extensive background in accounting and business administration. Her primary focus as a talent coordinator is to ensure the inner workings of the office run smoothly and efficiently. Jenni takes pride in providing top-notch assistance to our clientele and is adept at multitasking. For instance, when it comes to the demands of processing payroll and accounts receivable as well as miscellaneous duties pertaining human resources, she handles it all with finesse.
In Jenni’s spare time, she enjoys cheering on her son at his football games. You can also find Jenni headed to a cross fit or a boot camp class, shopping or spending time with family and friends.
Lucie Loignon
Senior Advisory Partner & Director of Procurement
Lucie joins Marquee Staffing as a seasoned executive with over 30 years of diverse experience in both private and public sectors, where she held various information technology roles and contributed her business and relationship development expertise across multi-stakeholder organizations. During her tenure within the Government of Canada (GoC), she was notably Chief Information Officer and Designated Official for Cyber Security at Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) and Immigration and Refugee Board Canada. She facilitated programs and service delivery through digital transformation, IMIT operations, resources and service provisioning. In addition, she oversaw Enterprise Project Management Offices at Canada Border Service Agency and ECCC. Over the years, Lucie has gained extensive experience in procurement for governmental and large organizations, which will be her primary focus at Marquee
Lucie holds an MBA from Université Laval and a Bachelor’s in Engineering from Université du Québec in Trois-Rivières. She is certified as a Project Management Professional, and currently operates as an independent consultant specializing in procurement, digital transformation, people development, governance, and project portfolio oversight, among other areas. In her free time, Lucie enjoys spending time with the family, reading and staying active with multiple sports.
Renee Loignon Dion
Chief Executive Officer
Division: San Diego County
Renee joined Marquee Staffing in 1994 as the company controller. Over the years, she has excelled in her role by taking on every aspect of managing a staffing company. Overseeing accounting and finance, HR, and information technology, she is deeply involved with the day-to-day operations. Renee has also been instrumental in negotiating credit lines and banking relationships. She is a seasoned risk manager credited with a very successful workers’ compensation program, in turn qualifying Marquee to enter TSIL, a prestigious self-insured group.
Renee enjoys bringing people together to find solutions to yield success and to get things done. She believes in sustaining long-term relationships with employees, clients, and corporate partners. She has earned the respect of her team by engaging them, providing direction, and supporting each and every team member in their individual roles. She is passionate about her work and loves what she does.
Renee graduated from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, with a bachelor’s degree in commerce with a concentration in accounting & marketing. She is also an enrolled agent certified to practice before the IRS and a certified management accountant.
Renee is dedicated to her family and likes to spend time cheering for her sons playing football and rugby. She enjoys trap shooting, skiing, and long walks on the beach with her husband. She also regularly travels back to Canada in order to visit family and reconnect with her French-Canadian heritage.
Nina McCann
On-Site Manager
Division: Orange County
A native to Orange County, Nina’s staffing career began in 2006 placing quality engineering candidates with distinguished companies as a successful recruiter and client manager. Nina specializes in recruiting for mechanical and electrical engineers in all industries from aerospace, medical device and manufacturing. She understands the engineering programs and importance of matching specific technical skills for position success. Her strong connections within the industry have been vital in her success. Nina’s excitement in placing engineers is due to the direct impact the products have on people’s lives: Everything we touch has been engineered in one form or another. She currently works as an on-site manager at a prominent medical device company.
Outside of work, Nina has been a dedicated volunteer to local nonprofit organizations for the past 15 years. She also enjoys being outdoors, hiking and spending time with her three children.
Emily Munoz
Senior Recruiter
Division: Orange County
Emily joined Marquee in 2021 and quickly rose to the role of Senior Recruiter and Account Manager. She specializes in placing qualified candidates across a range of industries, including healthcare, medical devices, engineering, and aerospace. With a degree in Hospitality Management from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, Emily brings over a decade of experience managing coffee shops, which honed her customer service and people skills. She now uses that background to connect candidates with the right opportunities and ensure the best fit for her clients.
When she’s not working, Emily enjoys cooking, baking, and spending quality time with her two sons.
Anthony Nguyen

Anthony Nguyen is a Recruiter with Marquee Staffing based in the Irvine division, specializing in connecting top talent with opportunities across a diverse range of industries. With expertise in full-cycle recruiting, relationship management, and workforce solutions, he is dedicated to creating a seamless and professional hiring experience from initial outreach through successful placement.
Prior to joining the Irvine division, Anthony worked within Marquee Staffing’s healthcare department, where he recruited for clinical, administrative, and allied healthcare roles throughout Southern California. This experience provided him with a strong foundation in fast-paced recruiting environments, compliance-focused hiring practices, and delivering high-quality talent solutions under tight deadlines.
Today, Anthony brings that same sense of urgency, clear communication, and people-first approach to his work in the Irvine division. He is passionate about building strong client partnerships, understanding unique hiring needs, and helping candidates secure opportunities where they can grow and thrive professionally.
Outside of work, Anthony enjoys uncovering new restaurants, trying various cuisines and hosting dinner gatherings with his friends and family. He’s a big advocate for being active and enjoys outdoor activities such as pickleball, table tennis, billiards, basketball, bowling, darts, and fishing. But now and then, he does appreciate some R&R by just binging some series with his wife and cat at home.
Claudia Perez
Senior Executive VP, Operations

With over ten years in the industry, Claudia joined Marquee in 2011 where she has been vital in growing and developing the Orange County Territory. With her strong business acumen, understanding of the market and stellar customer service, Claudia does it all! She sets the tone for building solid relationships with both her internal team and with clients.
Prior to joining Marquee, Claudia led several on-sites in the mortgage, aerospace and medical device industry. In her current role as senior VP of operations, she has been instrumental in developing the Orange County region as well as overseeing all company operations. Claudia can be counted on to successfully spearhead any project and has a no-nonsense approach when leading her team and driving company performance.
Originally from Colombia, SA, Claudia can be seen outside of work enjoying a good soccer game, Lakers game or football game. You can also find her in San Clemente on most weekends enjoying the beach and her family.
Tom Porter
Founder
Division: Orange County
After graduating with his degree in finance from San Diego State University, Tom started his career with Shell Oil Corporation in Houston, Texas. After several years with the organization, he decided to return to Los Angeles where he accepted a position with ARCO (British Petroleum) in investments. Having 10 years of corporate experience under his belt, Tom saw an opportunity to join the staffing industry and decided to venture out on his own. This is when Marquee Staffing was born in Carlsbad (1989).
With a strong executive team to back him up, Marquee Staffing has become one of the most respected local recruiting firms in Southern California. Active for over 30 years, the firm works with prominent organizations and has created strategic partnerships with many clients throughout California.
Tom is active in several professional Human Resource organizations including NHRA, SHRM, PIHRA, and OCEMA. For the past six (6) years, he has served as a board member for JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) in Orange County, CA In addition, Tom is very active with the American Heart Association, Ronald McDonald House, and other local charities. Finally, Tom is an active board member of two (2) well known staffing professional organizations – TempNet and TSIL.
In his spare time, Tom can be found cycling, as this is truly one his passions. In fact, he cycled in the Alps during the “Tour de France” in 2012 and 2016 for a full week along with other professional cyclists. Tom is an active family man who has been married to his wife Emily for the last 30 years and four (4) beautiful children.
Maribel Rivera

Maribel came to Marquee Staffing with an extensive background as a Customer Service Professional working for a high-end manufacturer in the sporting goods industry. Maribel joined Marquee Staffing in 2021 as a Talent Coordinator where her primary focus was to assist the recruiting team with onboarding new hires. Maribel quickly outgrew the role and transitioned to a Sr. Recruiter. By 2022 Maribel was one of the top performers in the branch!
In Maribel’s spare time, she enjoys spending time traveling with her husband and her three girls.
Emily Salanio

Division: Workforce Solutions
Emily has over 30 years of experience in the staffing industry including recruitment, sales and operations. Prior to joining Marquee, Emily served for over eight years in the U.S. Coast Guard as an engineering officer, pollution officer and tactical officer where she focused on computer systems management. With her expertise in IT, Emily moved on to support and grow Marquee Staffing as executive vice president where she oversaw the company’s operations, computers and communication systems.
Emily has transitioned into a leadership role at Marquee Workforce Solutions, where she focuses on collaborating with her dedicated team to recruit the industry’s best technical talent. As a minority- and female-owned business, the organization is targeting new market share within the IT staffing industry, with a focus on contract and direct-hire IT placements.
Kyle Webb
Recruiter
Division: Orange County
Since joining Marquee Staffing in 2022, Kyle has played an integral role in supporting recruitment efforts across a diverse range of industries, including accounting, finance, procurement, manufacturing, design, and IT. He is passionate about connecting the right talent with the right opportunities and is skilled in understanding both client expectations and candidate goals.
Kyle takes a thoughtful, people-first approach—carefully assessing each applicant’s skill set and career aspirations to ensure the best possible fit. He prides himself on helping candidates take the next step in their career journey while meeting the evolving needs of Marquee’s clients.
Before launching his career in recruiting, Kyle spent six years in the service industry as a barista and waiter, where he developed his strong communication and interpersonal skills. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach.
Outside of work, Kyle enjoys playing card games and building model kits.
